President Obama made his first presidential visit to Jamaica this week. And while it was mostly business, Obama found time to squeeze in a visit with Jamaican Olympic gold medalists Usain Bolt and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

“I get a chance to say ‘hi’ to Usain Bolt and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce,” Obama said (via NBC Sports), sounding a little bit like a fan boy on Thursday during a town hall at the University of the West Indies in Kingston on Thursday

“Well, you have the fastest people on the planet. You’ve got to say ‘hi’ to them, right?” he continued. “Because that’s fast. They’re a lot of people out there. And they’re the fastest.”

Obama was able to mostly pull himself together when he finally did meet the sprinters who were in the audience. He even suggested to Bolt that the two strike the Olympic champion’s famous lightening pose during a photoshoot. Bolt posted the hilarious results to Instagram on Friday.

Bolt was elated to meet Obama, captioning his Instagram post, “What can I say.. It was truly a great honour meeting the President of United States of America @barackobama.”

Bolt, 28, holds six Olympic gold medals and the world records for the 100- and 200-meter dashes.

Fraser-Pryce was also enamored of the president. She posted a signed note Obama penned to her to her Instagram account on Thursday.

Her caption: “So I didn’t know he was so charming!! @BarackObama @whitehouse @statedept and Yes He personally signed for me
