The Journey To Heaven
The journey to heaven is perfectly shown in the film “pilgrims progress”. The Christian race is a journey that requires patience and endurance(Matthew 24:13) Hebrews 12:1 tells us “wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses,let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us and let us run with patience the race that is set before us”. We must lay aside ALL WEIGHT AND SIN. You cannot run the race while still living in sin.
The heavenly race has been set before us,it is not a one-day journey. But do you know the point at which most people miss it? Hebrews 12:2 says “looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith”. Many people have missed the road because they stopped looking unto Jesus. Some now look at their pastors/leaders not Jesus. Some look at their financial,emotional condition and not Jesus. Please my dear brothers and sisters,respect and honor your pastors but LOOK UNTO JESUS. As for me,MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING ELSE THAN JESUS BLOOD AND RIGHTEOUSNESS. ON CHRIST THE SOLID ROCK I STAND,ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND. Let us put our trust in Jesus and by his grace we shall all see in heaven in Jesus name
