NAIROBI SENATOR MIKE SONKO ACCUSSED OF CONNING A CAPENTER SH 500, 000

Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko has been accused of conning a Kilifi based carpenter Kshs 500,000.

Speaking during a recent media interview, Peter Maina Nderitu claimed that he made President Uhuru Kenyatta an executive chair, foot stool and table which the Senator was supposed to pay.

But unfortunately, Sonko has been playing a cat and mouse game with him ever since he delivered the furnitures to Sonko's farm house.

“It has been a marathon of unanswered calls and texts to Sonko with the only time the Senator answered being a text message saying he receives over 40,000 messages besides having classes to attend.” Said Peter.

The Carpenter said that he has been to Nairobi twice to follow up on his payment but his efforts have not bore any fruit.

Sonko, who quickly jumped to defend himself said that he doesn’t owe Peter any money.

“I know where I buy my furniture and I am not in the habit of defrauding Kenyan’s of their money,” he said, adding that “besides, I would not buy a chair at half a million when the same can furnish an entire church or perform some other worthy charity.”
