A LETTER TO ALL GOSPEL MUSICIANS
When i was born gospel music was all about praising God. Musicians did sing not for money or some crazy dances for cheap fame. Musicians back them were truly humbled followers of Christ. However in recent times, just watching some gospel songs on tv and i think some of these artistes think God or Jesus is their age or bed mate. It's even hard to notice that it is a song not until the end when Jesus or God has been mentioned and the way they mention him sounds like someone just walked into the recording booth, placed a gun on their heads and forced them do so.
The Bible has well illustrated to us that we should fear God. That's why i admire Muslims at times .They tend to fear Allah but Christians are losing it daily stop singing to Him as if He is your age mate Sing for him or don't sing for Him even at all.The way some ladies are dressed in gospel videos doesn't reflect the face of God. Jimmy Gait and your makeke video, i wish you read this. Size 8 please stop these mateke dances. You may hit your fans on their faces with your heels on doing your crazy things. Willy paul crazy dances that's not cool.
These people be like" David danced for the Lord till clothes came off am just doing as David did."Its true David danced but he didn' twerk or gal a bubble for Jesus. He didn't bend over for the father, wine 'n' kotch for the son or even sidung for the Holy spirit.
Back then people used shawls and veils to cover their bodies and that's why there is a possibility David's clothe's fell off.. You are privileged to be born in this era when there is belts and buttons to prevent your clothes from falling off.
There is no need to expose your private parts in church or gospel music videos. God created every part of your body: so there is nothing new you are showing us. Please learn to fear and respect God and that will be the beginning of wisdom
